Privacy
Short version: we don't run ad trackers, we don't sell data, and we collect as little as we can.
Our newsletter
If you subscribe to The Plastic Dispatch, your email address is stored by Kit (kit.com), the service we use to send it. You'll be asked to confirm your address before anything is sent. Kit records whether emails are opened and links are clicked, which is standard for email services. Unsubscribe from any email and your address stops receiving them. To have it deleted entirely, email us.
Retailer links
When you follow an affiliate link to Amazon or another retailer, that retailer may set cookies so it can credit us for your purchase. Those cookies are set by the retailer, on its own site, under its own privacy policy. Retailer reports show us which products were ordered through our links, but never who ordered them.
This website
The site is hosted by Netlify, whose servers keep standard request logs (such as IP addresses and pages requested) for security and operations. We don't add analytics or advertising scripts. Search on this site runs entirely in your browser.
